Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and accruals.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Perform payroll processing and ensure tax compliance (1099s and W-2s).
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
