Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and proprietary accounting systems
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with actionable insights
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with strict adherence to deadlines
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Conduct audits and implement internal controls to prevent discrepancies
- Collaborate with CFO to optimize financial workflows and reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with error detection skills
- Proven ability to manage confidential financial data
- Experience with multi-currency accounting systems
