Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring all invoices are coded, approved, and paid accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly and weekly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records, including tax documents and audit trails.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budget preparation and variance analysis as needed.
- Reconcile credit card statements and handle petty cash management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate environment or CPA firm.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required; Sage experience is a plus.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Experience with Payroll processing (ADP, Gusto, or similar).
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
