Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process payroll accurately to guarantee timely weekly pay cycles for all employees.
- Maintain and organize financial files, ledgers, and records in strict compliance with local regulations.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and external audits as required.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
