Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare routine financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures by organizing and verifying financial data.
- Enter and maintain accurate general ledger entries using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and maintain organized financial records.
- Assist external auditors during annual reviews with data collection and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 0-2 years of professional experience, internships, or relevant coursework in accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
