Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare routine financial reports.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close procedures by organizing and verifying financial data.
  • Enter and maintain accurate general ledger entries using accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
  • Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Prepare and file necessary tax documents and maintain organized financial records.
  • Assist external auditors during annual reviews with data collection and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience, internships, or relevant coursework in accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
