Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation
- Conduct audits and internal control reviews
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Generate financial reports for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CPA exam eligibility preferred
- Tennessee residency or willingness to relocate
