Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis with zero discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, working papers, and financial audits.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide variance analysis and budget forecasting.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
