Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Process payroll data and handle employee expense reports.
- Perform regular audits of financial documents to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
