Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile client accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records
- Assist with tax preparation and filing documentation
- Perform general ledger maintenance and account analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (CPA or EA) preferred
- Local San Jose Bay Area residency required
