Responsibilities
- Prepare and process month-end closing activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable cycles and invoice verification
- Support financial statement compilation and report generation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and account balance verifications
- Assist in audit preparations and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP)
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
