Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with a high level of precision.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA preferred.
