Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues
- Perform daily AR reconciliation and aging report analysis
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document charges correctly
- Ensure HIPAA/GRC compliance in all billing processes
- Train staff on billing software updates and best practices
- Conduct monthly audits for billing accuracy
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience (ICD-10/CPT required)
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CCS-P preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
