Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 200+ healthcare providers using Epic and Medisoft systems
- Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies and resolve billing denials within SLA timeframes
- Analyze charge capture accuracy and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve complex payment issues
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive leadership
- Maintain HIPAA compliance for all patient financial data
- Train staff on billing protocols and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance carriers
- Proficiency in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 forms
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credential preferred
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a regulated environment
