Responsibilities
- Generate and process accurate invoices and monthly statements for clients and patients.
- Reconcile daily and monthly bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection.
- Manage billing inquiries via phone and email, resolving disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Assist in the month-end close process, including accruals and adjustments.
- Utilize billing software (Epicor, QuickBooks, or equivalent) to maintain up-to-date account records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, revenue cycle, or medical billing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with healthcare billing software (Epicor, Cerner, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
