Responsibilities
- Generate and send accurate invoices to clients promptly.
- Process payments and post them to customer accounts accurately.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and monthly financial reports.
- Assist with the month-end close process.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and answer client inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or medical billing systems).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail.
