Your Mission:
As our Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner. You will act as the primary point of contact for billing inquiries, working to resolve issues quickly and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Prepare and post invoices accurately using our ERP system, ensuring all billing data is error-free.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on past-due invoices, and implement payment plans when necessary.
- Customer Communication: Respond professionally and promptly to client billing inquiries via email and phone.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure bank statements match system records.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze billing reports to identify trends and improve revenue collection processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing practices comply with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial documentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex billing issues clearly.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
