Responsibilities
- Manage the full billing cycle, including issuing invoices, recording payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Review and verify billing data for accuracy, resolving discrepancies with internal teams and clients promptly.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to identify trends and improve cash flow efficiency.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account status with a focus on high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize financial software to update customer records and maintain organized billing databases.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or SAP is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong understanding of billing cycles, revenue recognition, and financial reconciliation principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex billing issues clearly.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
