Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ monthly patient accounts
- Verify insurance eligibility and submit claims to Medicare/Medicaid/private payers
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries within 24 hours
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and identify collection opportunities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Generate monthly billing performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic EHR and NextGen billing systems
- Strong analytical skills with 10-key proficiency
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of Colorado Medicaid and Cigna/Anthem billing policies
