- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and resolve billing discrepancies
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments
- Collaborate with collections team to optimize cash flow
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS billing regulations
- Prepare monthly billing reports for financial review
- Train junior staff on billing procedures and software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in billing software (Epicor, Medisoft, or equivalent)
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or CPC certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with AR aging reports and payment reconciliation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
