Responsibilities
- Process and post invoices accurately to ensure timely revenue recognition.
- Verify and resolve billing discrepancies and errors efficiently.
- Communicate with clients and insurance carriers to address outstanding balances.
- Manage accounts receivable and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Maintain and update patient/client billing records with high attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in medical or commercial billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and privacy regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
