Your Role
As a Billing Specialist, you will be the bridge between our clients and our financial operations. You will ensure accuracy in revenue recognition and maintain positive relationships with our customers through timely invoicing and collections.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile monthly accounts receivable and address discrepancies promptly.
- Manage customer inquiries regarding billing status, payments, and invoices.
- Collaborate with the collections team to minimize outstanding debt.
- Maintain detailed and organized billing records and logs.
- Assist in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in billing software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
