Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle operations including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and denials through insurance carrier negotiations
- Ensure HIPAA/FDCPA compliance across all billing documentation and processes
- Generate monthly revenue reports and KPI dashboards for executive leadership
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation requirements
- Implement process improvements using Epic and Cerner billing platforms
- Conduct quarterly audits for 3rd-party payor contracts and fee schedules
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payors
- Proficiency in Epic Resolute or Cerner billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms
- Experience with RCM analytics tools like Waystar or Change Healthcare
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with 95+ denial resolution rate
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
