- Process and submit insurance claims with 95% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through patient and insurer communication
- Reconcile accounts receivable monthly using Epic EMR systems
- Ensure HIPAA/FDCPA compliance in all billing operations
- Train staff on updated billing protocols and CMS guidelines
- Generate financial reports for executive review
- Collaborate with collections team on aged accounts
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic Resolute or similar EMR platforms
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to resolve complex insurance denials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma; associate degree preferred
