- Reconcile accounts receivable reports to identify discrepancies
- Communicate with clients and insurance carriers to resolve payment delays
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant billing documentation and audit trails
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce AR days by 15%
- Train junior staff on billing compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/PivotTable skills
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice processing (500+ daily)
- Exceptional problem-solving with 95% first-pass claim rate
- Spanish bilingual required for El Paso market
