Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues promptly
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate contract billing
- Generate monthly/quarterly billing reports and financial statements
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (if applicable)
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for billing data management
- Conduct regular audits of billing processes to identify inefficiencies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or corporate billing
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes or commercial billing practices
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with AR aging reports and collections strategies
