- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
- Comply with HIPAA, CMS, and payer-specific regulatory requirements
- Generate monthly billing performance reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Expertise in CPT/HCPCS coding and ICD-10 diagnosis classification
- Proficient with Epic EMR and medical billing software (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations and appeals processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
