Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoicing, payment posting, and account reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous analysis of insurance claims and patient accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue cycle workflows
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, billing regulations, and internal audit standards
- Generate monthly billing reports and KPI dashboards for financial leadership
- Implement process improvements to reduce denials and accelerate cash flow
- Train staff on billing system updates and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or complex billing experience in a healthcare/tech setting
- Expertise in Epic, Meditech, or similar EHR billing modules
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of insurance claim processing (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with 95%+ accuracy in billing operations
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
