- Process and reconcile complex medical/insurance claims with 99.2% accuracy
- Manage electronic billing systems (Epic/Cerner experience preferred)
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct insurer negotiations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for executive review
- Implement HIPAA-compliant billing protocols
- Train staff on billing best practices and system updates
- Collaborate with collections team on aged account resolution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical/insurance billing experience
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credential required
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS-1500 forms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Experience with revenue cycle optimization projects
