Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex medical invoices with insurance payers and patients
- Resolve billing discrepancies through proactive communication with providers and payers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and state billing regulations
- Generate monthly revenue reports and aging accounts receivable analyses
- Train billing staff on new procedures and software updates
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue account resolution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance claim submission
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities
