Responsibilities
- Process and verify insurance claims/EOBs for accuracy and compliance
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies
- Generate monthly invoices and reconcile payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
- Implement process improvements for billing efficiency
- Prepare monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance in all billing activities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic/NextGen EMR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities for provider interactions
- Experience with AR aging reports and collections
- Associate degree in healthcare finance or related field
