Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99.2% accuracy rate
- Resolve billing discrepancies through proactive payer negotiations
- Manage patient payment plans and financial counseling
- Conduct monthly revenue cycle analysis and reporting
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all financial transactions
- Collaborate with clinical teams for charge capture optimization
- Maintain electronic health record (EHR) billing modules
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience with CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Expertise in Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Professional certification (CPC, CPB, or CCS-P) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of VA Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing analytics
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts receivable cycles
