Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable and aging reports
- Resolve billing discrepancies through client communication
- Collaborate with insurance verification teams
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Implement billing process improvements
- Train new billing staff on SOPs
- Ensure HIPAA/GAAP compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic or Medisoft systems
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
