Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile invoices with payment records
- Resolve billing discrepancies through client communication
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA)
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts
- Update billing systems and patient information databases
- Conduct audits for billing accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic and Meditech systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving
- Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
- Experience with CMS-1500 forms
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
