Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end medical billing processes including claim submission, follow-up, and payment posting
- Analyze account discrepancies and resolve billing issues with insurance providers and patients
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance and key metrics
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar EMR systems)
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
