Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct insurer/patient communication
- Generate monthly revenue reports for financial analysis
- Update and maintain billing databases in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proficient with Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to resolve complex payment issues diplomatically
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance
