Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately prepare, verify, and post invoices to ensure timely payments from clients and patients.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on overdue accounts, and send collection notices when necessary.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, errors, and claim denials efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update billing software and databases with the highest level of data integrity.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze monthly billing reports to identify trends and improve cash flow.
- Compliance: Ensure all billing practices adhere to internal policies and relevant industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
