Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims for multiple payers with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries within 24 hours
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable and denials reports
- Update and maintain patient billing records in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Analyze denial trends and implement process improvements
- Train staff on billing procedures and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a clinic/hospital setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficient in Epic EMR and claims management software
- Deep knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare and commercial insurance plans
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
