Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 95%+ accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient account inquiries
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance for all transactions
- Generate monthly revenue reports for leadership review
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding and documentation
- Manage denial prevention and appeals processes
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce A/R days
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Medisoft systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Background check and drug screen required
