Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing cycles for 500+ medical accounts
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and underpayments
- Reconcile accounts receivable monthly with 99.8% accuracy
- Analyze billing data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Train staff on new billing protocols and software updates
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EMR and Cerner systems
- Expert knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-volume transactions with minimal errors
- Experience with AR aging reports and denial management
