Responsibilities
- Process and issue invoices in a timely and accurate manner to clients.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile monthly billing statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and organized billing records and documentation.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
