Responsibilities
- Process and submit accurate insurance claims and invoices within 24-hour turnaround
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports to identify discrepancies and resolve billing errors
- Communicate with insurance providers and patients to resolve billing inquiries
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems with updated billing information
- Generate monthly financial reports and analyze billing trends for process improvement
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation and communications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or similar billing software
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.5% accuracy in data entry
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex billing disputes
