- Resolve complex billing discrepancies through direct insurance carrier communication
- Optimize revenue cycle workflows to reduce AR days by 15%
- Train staff on ICD-10/CPT coding compliance updates
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive review
- Collaborate with collections department on aged receivables
Qualifications
- 3+ years healthcare billing experience with CPCS certification
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management software (e.g., NextGen, Athenahealth)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or equivalent
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table experience
