As a Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive accurate invoices and that our accounts receivable remains healthy. You will work in a collaborative environment that values transparency and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and billing statements with 100% accuracy.
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) ledgers.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, billing errors, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and distribute monthly billing reports to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with company billing policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the collections team to minimize delinquent accounts.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3+ years of professional experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and standard billing software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Meditech).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
