- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve payment denials
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Collaborate with providers to verify insurance eligibility
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Train staff on billing software updates and best practices
- Optimize billing workflows to reduce AR days
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Associates degree in healthcare administration or related field
