Responsibilities
- Manage and process customer invoices with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct client communication
- Reconcile accounts receivable weekly and monthly reports
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for billing operations
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams on billing matters
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA)
- Generate monthly aging reports and collection forecasts
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of billing/collections experience in healthcare
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or Medical Billing & Coding (CBC) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive PHI data securely
