Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
