Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of daily transactions, including cash withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Cash checks, verify identification, and accurately balance the teller drawer at the end of every shift.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby and work area to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Identify and report suspicious activities or potential fraud to branch management immediately.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and vault preparation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling experience in a banking, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic banking software.
