Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to all clients, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure balances match.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote our banking products (e.g., savings accounts, credit cards) to meet branch goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with account openings, maintain branch cleanliness, and process new account paperwork.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in retail banking, cash handling, or customer service is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong math skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software (e.g., FIS, QAS) is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
