Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with strict accuracy.
- Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift to ensure full accountability.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and explain banking products.
- Assist in identifying cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to loans, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Adhere to all bank policies, federal regulations, and security protocols to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
- Process account opening forms and assist in the onboarding of new clients.
- Collaborate with the branch team to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in basic mathematics and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with bank operating software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry) is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch volume.
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary banking certifications/licenses.
