Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently using the bank's core banking systems.
- Greet all customers warmly and provide professional, knowledgeable assistance regarding our suite of financial products and services.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend appropriate solutions that enhance the customer's financial well-being.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with empathy, patience, and effective problem-solving skills to ensure high satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash drawers and reconcile balances at the end of each shift.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment for both staff and customers.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements and bank security protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a genuine customer-first attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new bank-specific software systems rapidly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as required for daily branch operations.
- Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
